Johannesburg - A group of Julius Malema's Economic Freedom Fighters was present at the memorial service for former president Nelson Mandela at the FNB Stadium, in Soweto, on Tuesday.

The group, dressed in red and white T-shirts, occupied the north-western part of the stadium.

“Thiba ka moo re bolaya ntswa tsena (keep watch there, we are killing these dogs),” they sang as dignitaries arrived.

Loud booing came from the crowd when the EFF group was shown on the stadium's television screen. - Sapa
