Johannesburg - A crowd of more than a hundred EFF supporters danced and sang as they awaited the arrival of their leader Julius Malema in Kliptown, Soweto on Sunday.
Some groups sang praise songs to Malema, others sang songs about President Jacob Zuma, his home in Nkandla and the African National Congress, which expelled Malema when he was president of its youth league.
A few cars and minibuses had arrived at an open field in the township around 10am.
Residents in the area sat on their verandas observing the activity in the streets.
Malema is set to address the members on Sunday afternoon.
