Pretoria - Cabinet will assess the ANC government's performance since 1994 at its lekgotla in Pretoria, Minister in the Presidency Collins Chabane said on Tuesday.

“The 20 year review details how we've performed since 1994; it is a thick, structural and detailed 21 chapter document,” Chabane told reporters in Pretoria where the lekgotla is being held.

The meeting would assess the state of the economy and the performance of the present administration, led by President Jacob Zuma.

The lekgotla, which started on Tuesday, ends on Thursday. Chabane said it would be followed by a meeting with premiers and the SA Local Government Association on Thursday, where the state of provinces and local government would be assessed. - Sapa
