The final report of the Hefer Commission has been completed, the commission secretary confirmed on Tuesday.
John Bacon, secretary of the Hefer Commission, said that the document would be handed to the office of Justice Minister Maduna early next week.
Maduna would then submit the report to President Thabo Mbeki.
Only once Mbeki had accepted the report's findings would it be made public, said Bacon.
Until then only the commissioner, Bacon, Maduna and Mbeki would know what had been concluded. - Sapa
