Pretoria - The Seriti Commission of Inquiry into the multi-billion rand arms deal has been postponed to Monday.

“The hearings will resume on Monday with the testimony of Mr Ronnie Kasrils (former intelligence minister), as per the attached schedule,” spokesman William Baloyi said on Wednesday.

The hearing was adjourned on Tuesday.

President Jacob Zuma appointed the commission in 2011 to investigate alleged corruption in the multi-billion rand deal.

The government acquired, among other items, 26 Gripen fighter aircraft and 24 Hawk lead-in fighter trainer aircraft for the SA Air Force, and Frigates and submarines for the SA Navy.
