Limpopo textbook saga ‘unfortunate’

Johannesburg - The Limpopo textbook saga was unfortunate, said Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga on Wednesday.

“It should not have happened,” she said.

Motshekga said the delayed textbooks were for Grade 1 to 3 and Grade 10. Matriculants were not affected.

Schools in the province were without books for the first seven months of the school year in 2012. - Sapa
