Masina elected Ekhuruleni ANC chair

Johannesburg - ANCYL national convenor and Deputy Trade and Industry Minister Mzwandile Masina has been elected the ruling party's chairman in Ekurhuleni, the ANC in Gauteng said on Sunday.

The Ekurhuleni council's ANC chief whip, Robert Mashego was elected deputy chairman, Theliswa Mgweba regional secretary, Petros Mhlarhi deputy secretary, and Thembinkosi Nciza treasurer.

“The ANC Gauteng is looking forward to work with the new Ekurhuleni REC (regional executive committee) to strengthen the organisation to ensure we mobilise for radical socio-economic transformation,” spokesman Dumisa Ntuli said in a statement.
