Pretoria - International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane met Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister Riad Malki on Friday for talks, the department said.
The matters discussed included the state of relations between both countries, the consolidation of Africa-Palestine relations, the recent reconciliation agreement between Fatah and Hamas, and the Middle East peace process, spokesman Clayson Monyela said in a statement.
Government also hosted the Palestinian Heads of Mission Conference for African ambassadors, held in Cape Town on April 29 and 30.
