The DA held its concluding rally in Port Elizabeth on Monday at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University's Vista campus.
Spirits were high as supporters sang struggle songs and danced. They were addressed by former Eastern Cape premier, Nosimo Balindlela who left the ANC for the DA last year. New recruit, from Cope, Nqaba Bhanga also addressed the rally.
Party leader Helen Zille is expected to address the rally shortly.
