Johannesburg – An interfaith prayer meeting was held for struggle veteran Ahmed Kathrada at Liliesleaf Farm, where Rivonia Trialists were arrested.
Faith leaders and politicians were among those who gathered to pray for Kathrada.
Kathrada was hospitalised on March 4 for surgery related to blood clotting on the brain. Last week Neeshan Balton, director of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation said that the 87-year-old had "experienced several health-related setbacks making the prognosis of his illness unpredictable.
