When one looks at Brown, Rasool, Ehrenreich and the other sewage the ANC in the W Cape dredges up (there are decent individual ministers, etc in the ANC but only in other provinces, it seems) one can see why Gwede Mantashe was forced to acknowledge at the ANC's W Cape congress last year that the majority of Cosatu and ANC members voted DA in the W Cape.
