Johannesburg - Traffic will be diverted between Dunkeld West and Parktown North on Thursday due to a protest march by members of the ANC Youth League, Johannesburg metro police said.

Protesters would gather at Hugh Wyndham Park, said Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

“They will proceed along Northumberland Street up to Seventh Street,” he said.

The marchers were expected to hand over a memorandum at the Mail and Guardian offices on Jan Smuts Avenue and then march back to the park where they would disperse.

“The march will start at 11am and should end by 1pm,” said Minnaar.

He advised motorists to use Fourth and Fifth streets during the march. - Sapa
