The 27th of October 2016 would have been Oliver Tambo's 99th Birthday.

Tambo, along with Nelson Mandela and Walter Sisulu, founded the African National Congress Youth League in 1943, and was also the League’s first national secretary.

The former ANC president spent 30 years living in exile with his family.

Today we remember his life, and the role he played towards ensuring a better South Africa for all.
