Cape Town - Media monitoring company ROI Africa, gave us the run-down on how last week’s Local Government Elections took over social media.
It said on its website: “We all expected the Elections to take over the social media charts, but the enormity of the social conversation is what is surprising. Over 70% of the social media charts, but if one adds the top three parties almost 90% of the social media is consumed with Election talk.”
The Economic Freedom Fighters and its leader Julius Malema were the most talked about political movers and shakers on social media last week.
