Johannesburg - African National Congress stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela is to undergo surgery again, her daughter Zindzi Mandela wrote on social networking site Twitter on Monday.

“Wishing my mother a speedy recovery and good luck with the surgery. Love always,” Zindzi Mandela tweeted.

It was not clear what surgery Madikizela-Mandela was undergoing.

In November 2011, Madikizela-Mandela was admitted to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg and treated for an existing diabetes condition.

In September that same year, she was admitted at the Life Brenthurst Clinic in Parktown for minor surgery to her ankle.

In June 2012, Madikizela-Mandela was admitted to hospital and underwent surgery after falling and breaking her right wrist.
