Johannesburg - Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille on Saturday called on South Africa to support her party ahead of the national elections.
Speaking at the party's announcement of its prospective Parliamentary and premier candidates in Johannesburg, she said the party had never before had a team of such quality.
“This is team DA who I am requesting you'll make Team SA,” Zille said.
She said 1 432 people had applied for various positions ahead of the elections.
This showed the party's growth, and the country's desire for change.
Zille was accompanied by party's Parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko and Gauteng premier candidate Mmusi Maimane. - Sapa
