Johannesburg - The country can expect cool to cold weather conditions on Sunday, the SA Weather Service (SAWS) said.

Minimum temperatures would mainly be in the single digits across the country, forecaster Elizabeth Webster said on Saturday.

A cold front was expected to hit the Western Cape on Sunday afternoon.

The cold front would result in showers and rainfall in the South Western parts of the country, Webster said
