A nine-year-old boy died when he was attacked by bees on his way home from school in King Williamstown, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.
The boy was walking home with his peers on Thursday afternoon when a swarm attacked them, spokesman Captain Ernest Sigobe said.
“The boy died at the scene. We suspect they were playing around with the beehive.” – Sapa
