Uitenhage - A fourth person has died following a crash between a Toyota Venture and a mortuary van in Uitenhage on Friday, Eastern Cape police said.
“The passenger in the forensic pathology vehicle has passed away at Cuyler Hospital,” Lt-Col Priscilla Naidu said.
The driver of the Venture and two of his passengers were killed when they crashed into a provincial health department mortuary van on the Old Cape Road around 10am on Friday. They died at the scene.
Two other passengers from the Venture and another from the mortuary van were recovering in hospital. - Sapa
