Cape Town – A well-known Port Elizabeth family was on Sunday celebrating the imminent return of two of four siblings who had been held by Saudi Arabian authorities for almost a year.

Nazier Desai, father of the four, said in a statement that he had received news that two of the siblings, Huda and Waliyullah, were being released after 11 months in Zhahban prison in Jedda and would be back in South Africa by Monday afternoon.

Desai added that the family’s joy was tempered by lack of news about the other two siblings, Yumna and Wasiyullah, who continued to be held without charge.
