Two youths have been arrested in connection with the murder of their brother in Ngqamakwe, in the Eastern Cape, police said on Tuesday.

Captain Jackson Manatha said the two, aged 19, allegedly killed their 30-year-old brother on Saturday.

“Apparently a fight broke out between the brothers on Saturday at a traditional ceremony. The deceased died of multiple injuries.”

The cause of the fight would form part of the police investigation.

The two were expected to appear in Ngqamakwe Magistrate's Court on Tuesday. – Sapa
