Uitenhage - Two children died on Tuesday when they were hit by a car while crossing a road in Uitenhage, in the Eastern Cape, paramedics said.

The two 10-year-old boys died before paramedics arrived on the scene, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.

“Paramedics arrived at the scene and found one child on the gravel next to the road, while the other was found on the roadway.” - Sapa
