Vusi Mahlangu, the #FeesMustFall and #OutsourcingMustFall activist who was mysteriously vanished last week, has been arrested by the Hawks for perjury and defeating the ends of justice.
Mahlangu disappeared en route to a meeting in the Eastern Cape and fellow activists reported that he sent a text message to a friend saying he was either kidnapped or arrested and was being held in a dark place.
Exactly a week after his disappearance, he resurfaced as news broke of him meeting with the Hawks in the Eastern Cape.
