Four massacre victims to be buried

Four of the seven people who were allegedly killed by Johnny Jooste in Koue Bokkeveld last week will be buried on Saturday in Calvinia in the Western Cape, SABC radio news reported.

Jooste, 35, appeared in the Ceres Magistrate's Court for allegedly shooting dead seven people including his two children, his wife and four other relatives.

Jooste's wife, Elmien, his son's Blake, 6, and Sanjay, 3, and one of his sisters-in-law will be buried on Saturday.

Jooste's court case was postponed to March 13 for further investigation.

All of the victims died of single gunshots to their heads from a 9mm pistol. - Sapa
