Bloemfontein - Two inmates at the Mangaung correctional centre outside Bloemfontein, are holding a doctor hostage, Free State police confirmed on Monday.
Sergeant Thabo Litabe said he could confirm only that the doctor had been held hostage by the two inmates since 10.35am.
He said police were on the scene. - Sapa
