A man survived a four-storey fall in Welkom, the Free State, paramedics said on Thursday.
“The man was found at the foot of the apartment building and in severe pain,” ER24 spokesman Andre Visser said in a statement.
Paramedics said they did not know what caused the man's fall from a balcony, shortly after 8pm on Wednesday.
He was treated at the scene for a broken right leg, facial injuries and suspected back and neck injuries, and taken to a local hospital. – Sapa
