Johannesburg -

Six people were killed when two vehicles collided on the R705 near Jacobsdal, in the Free State, paramedics said on Monday.

“Paramedics found the two vehicles on the side of the road, with parts of the vehicles strewn across the road,” said ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring.

The accident happened on Sunday evening.

Meiring said two people died after being ejected from one of the vehicles.

“Four others who were travelling in the other vehicle were also found dead and entrapped in their vehicle.”

“It had been apparent that the vehicles had rolled multiple times,” Meiring said. - Sapa
