Johannesburg - Fourteen people were injured on Wednesday morning when six vehicles collided on the R28 near the Silverstar Casino, west of Johannesburg, paramedics said.
“Paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and found the one lane of the road blocked by multiple vehicles,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
Meiring said on assessment, paramedics found that 14 people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
“Fortunately no-one had sustained and serious injuries.”
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and transported them to nearby hospitals for further treatment, Meiring said.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
