Vanderbijlpark – Nineteen people were injured when a bakkie overturned on Delfos Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark early on Saturday morning, Gauteng paramedics said.
"Upon arriving at the scene, police and ER24 paramedics found the driver had lost control of the bakkie that was carrying 18 people," ER24 spokesperson Annine Dormehl said.
All 18 passengers and the driver were injured, but none seriously. They were transported to Kopanong and Sedibeng district hospitals in Vanderbijlpark by ER24 paramedics and other emergency services.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigation, Dormehl said.
