A man was killed when his motorbike collided with a truck on the Parys road outside Potchefstroom on Friday, paramedics said.

“He had tried to avoid the collision with the truck, which appeared to have been trying to turn from the road,” said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson.

“The motorcyclist then skidded out and crashed into the truck.”

The 32-year-old man was found lying in the road. He died on the scene. – Sapa
