Forty four children were stung by bees at the Bunny Park in Benoni on the East Rand.

Johannesburg - Forty four children were stung by bees on Friday afternoon at the Bunny Park in Benoni on the East Rand, paramedics said.

Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said four of the children were in a critical condition.

Paramedics were still at the scene by 4.30pm.
