A cyclist was killed when he was hit by a car in Westonaria, West Rand on Thursday, paramedics said.
ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson said the 29-year-old cyclist was struck by an Audi A4 at 4.30am.
Paramedics arrived to find the man had sustained critical injuries including multiple broken bones in his face.
He died at the scene.
The driver of the Audi sustained minor injuries. - Sapa
