Johannesburg - A man was killed and another injured when a wall collapsed on them in Midrand on Wednesday, Johannesburg, emergency management services said.

The man was declared dead on the scene around 3pm at a construction site in the Waterfall area, spokesman Robert Mulaudzi said.

The other man was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The collapse would be investigated.
