Johannesburg - A man died after a swarm of bees stung him in Mayfair on Monday, Johannesburg emergency services said.

“When we arrived, we tried to resuscitate the 38-year-old male but he later died,” said spokeswoman Nana Radebe.

The incident happened next to the Mayfair Primary School.

No one else was stung, she said. - Sapa
