Johannesburg - One person was killed and 35 people were injured when a car and a bus collided on the N12 between Carletonville and Fochville, Gauteng, on Sunday, paramedics said.

“There were 35 patients with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The driver of the light motor vehicle was killed in the collision,” ER24 said in a statement.

The injured were stabilised on the scene and taken to local hospitals. Authorities were on scene to investigate.

Twenty-nine people were injured when their bus crashed near the Natal Spa Hot Springs, near Paulpietersburg, KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday night. - Sapa
