Johannesburg - A man died when a light aircraft crashed at the Heidelberg airfield on Saturday, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said the man was alone in the aircraft.
She said further details were not immediately available and the man was declared dead on the scene.
“The exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a Civil Aviation Authority investigation,” said Steinmann. - Sapa
