Pretoria - A man was killed and six other people injured when a minibus and a light delivery vehicle collided on the N14 Ben Schoeman Highway in Pretoria on Thursday, said paramedics.
Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said paramedics found both vehicles overturned on the road.
“A man tragically lost his life, two people sustained serious injuries, and four people sustained moderate injuries,” said Steinmann.
Paramedics had to use the Jaws of Life to remove two people trapped inside the minibus.
The injured people were treated on the scene before being transported to hospital.
The cause of the accident was unknown.
