Johannesburg - A man was killed and 15 people were injured when a truck and a mini bus taxi collided in Vereeniging on Monday, paramedics said.
“The heavy goods vehicle then overturned and burst into flames on the R28 Vereeniging Road,” said Netcare 911 spokesman Santi Steinmann.
The injured were treated on the scene before they were taken to hospital.
“Exact detail on the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation,” Steinmann said.
