Pedestrian killed on Meyerton Road

A pedestrian was killed while trying to cross the R59 in Meyerton, paramedics said on Wednesday.

He was hit by a vehicle, was thrown through the air, and was then hit by another two vehicles and a bus after trying to cross the road with another man on Tuesday night, said ER24 spokesman Andre Visser.

He was declared dead on the scene.
