Johannesburg - @Pigspotter, the mysterious tweeter who has long been a thorn in the side of Gauteng traffic police and other law enforcement agencies, has had his cover blown.

The Twitter account has been warning motorists about road blocks, speed traps and police activity on Gauteng roads since 2010, but a lawsuit brought by “Vuzu Rich Kids” star Nape Phasha, could put the spoiler out of business.

The case revolves around a fatal traffic accident from which @Pigspotter said Phasa had fled. The reality star denies this.

His legal team has signalled that they will sue the owner of the account, revealed in court papers as 33-year-old Cliff Ricardo Santos Pinto of Lambton in Germiston, for half a million rand.
