Johannesburg - Six people were killed and one person was seriously injured in an accident on Moloto Road near the Kameeldrift police dog school, paramedics said on Sunday.
Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said paramedics who attended to the scene were met by accident debris and the twisted remains of the vehicles spread over a large area.
“After triaging they found that six people had tragically died before our arrival while one person was found to have sustained serious injuries,” Botha said in a statement.
The seriously injured patient was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
