Thirteen people were injured when a taxi rolled between Ventersdorp and Potchefstroom on Saturday morning, paramedics said.
“Reports indicate the taxi was travelling towards Ventersdorp with a group of people to attend a Church service at around 6am, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
“Two people sustained critical injuries while eleven others sustained serious injuries.”
Botha said paramedics stabilised everyone on the scene before they were taken to a hospital in Potchefstroom. - Sapa
