Johannesburg -

Three men died and another was injured when their car rolled near the Grasmere toll plaza on the N1 highway on Saturday morning.

ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson said the driver lost control of the car, and it crashed into the shoulder of the road before rolling several times.

The three men were thrown from the car and were declared dead at the scene.

The other passenger was rushed to the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital for further medical treatment. - Sapa
