The National Stadium will host the closing ceremony and match.

Johannesburg - Ticket-holders for the final match of the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations will have easy access to the National Stadium in Johannesburg, the city said on Wednesday.

A transport plan with a number of public transport and park and walk options had been put in place, said spokesman Nthatise Modingoane.

“We encourage ticket-holders to plan their trip and to leave their homes early to avoid queues and congestion by utilising the public transport facilities we have put in place,” said Modingoane.

The final match on Sunday will be preceded by the closing ceremony.

Rea Vaya buses, Metrorail trains, and park, walk, and ride facilities were among some of the services the city had put in place to ensure efficient and easy access for ticket-holders.

Marshals would direct motorists to the most convenient park and walk facilities, and gates would remain open until all cars had left.

Ticket-holders were encouraged to make pre-bookings at Computicket to use some of the services.
