Johannesburg - The body of a miner who was trapped at Kusasalethu mine, near Carltonville was found on Sunday, said Harmony Gold Mining Company.
The body was recovered around 6am, said spokeswoman Henrika Basterfield.
The miner had gone missing after a groundfall at Kusasalethu mine on Wednesday.
Basterfield said all mine operations had been suspended until an investigation into the incident was complete.
Harmony Gold Mining and the National Union of Mineworkers have both expressed their condolences to the miner's family. - Sapa
