Bryanston, Johannesburg - A boy drowned in a swimming pool at a house in Bryanston, Johannesburg on Tuesday afternoon, paramedics said.

ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson said two boys aged two and three were found floating in a pool by their relatives.

The two-year-old died on his arrival at Olivedale Hospital, while the second boy was still receiving treatment.

It was not immediately clear how they got into the pool. - Sapa
