A woman was killed and four others were injured when two minibus taxis collided in Etwatwa on the East Rand on Tuesday, paramedics said.

The woman in her 20s was found dead behind one of the taxis at Laris Street, said ER24 spokeswoman Luyanda Majija.

The injured were treated on the scene before they were taken to hospital.

The cause of the accident was not known and local authorities were investigating, she said. - Sapa
