Johannesburg - A woman was burnt to death on Friday when her house caught alight in Vanderbijlpark, south of Gauteng, paramedics said.

ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said once the blaze was extinguished on Friday evening, paramedics found that the woman had sustained fatal injuries.

“Witnesses on scene stated that the woman had apparently run back into her burning (house), but did not return.”
