Johannesburg - Christina Scott, one of South Africa's top science journalists, was killed in a car crash in Cape Town on Monday morning, Eyewitness News reported.
Scott hosted the weekly Science Matters programme on SAfm between 9pm and 10pm.
She leaves behind two young children, fellow science journalist and friend George Claasen was quoted as saying.
“Christina was the second president of the South African Science Journalists’ Association. She was possibly the most experienced South African science journalist,” said Claasen, who is also a member of the South African National Editors' Forum. - Sapa
