Durban – Sixteen preschool children were injured on Tuesday morning after their minibus taxi lost control and rolled several times along the Umgudulu Road in Resevoir Hills, Durban.
Rescue Care Operations Director Garrith Jamieson said paramedics were on the scene just after 7am.
They found injured children on the side of the road. They soon established that the minibus taxi had rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof. The taxi was carrying children to their preschool.
"Sixteen children had been injured and once all the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required," said Jamieson.

The of the crash is yet to be established. The South African Police Service is investigating.
